Year round Wiedenmann Super 500 is ultra-versatile

Wiedenmann UK’s Super 500 is the machine that keeps on giving, even as seasons change.

Autumn is fast approaching and there is no better time to book a demonstration so that you can see for your self the abilities of the Super 500.

Depending on the attachments employed, it can be a sweeper, scarifier, flail mower and fraise mower; it is also a turf friendly collector of debris and leaves. Attachments can be air paddles, flail blades, and/or verticutting blades.

Ever popular among contractors, estates and golf course managers, the Super 500 works across all temperatures. Its versatility even on frosty days means they can rely on the Super 500 to be productive.

The 2.1 m high dump facility on the CHD model allows for easy tipping into bins and trailers and this also comes as standard on the basic sweeping model. The container lifts via a parallel system, with the hopper rotating, allowing the hopper to completely discharge collected material. Leaves, clippings and debris are vacuum packed in its huge 2500 litre tank thanks to high airflow.

Four large low-pressure tyres minimise any turf footprint while the parallelogram guided sweeper head ensures that implements maintain an optimal working position at all times. This is a key safety advantage as its floating head ensures a clean pass over undulating ground.

With safety to the fore an optional floating rear axle allows the Super 500 to follow undulating terrain easily. Other options include a front roller to help reduce the chances of scalping and in-cab remote control to allow the operator the change the three operating functions - head unit lift and lower, hopper lift and hopper tip. It also can also have rear lights.

A dethatching and scarifying unit is available with verticut blades that can be spaced 19mm, 38mm and 57mm centres.  A further option is Durablades™, Wiedenmann’s strongest ever blade, made of tungsten steel.
