“Specifically, we’re working on the grass re-enforcement that surrounds the BMX Track. We are inserting a geo-grid system that will make it easier to accommodate the event infrastructure, things like temporary viewing stands, seating, car parking and pedestrian traffic.”

“Until now, we’ve had to make our way out to the 5th to start work, adding 10-15 minutes in travel time before we begin. The new set up means we can quietly follow holes in order starting at 18 at the clubhouse, then do 1-4. We don’t have to come back on ourselves, we avoid arriving golfers and can be more productive in those first few hours. I reckon we are at least 30 minutes’ ahead every day, so it will be much easier to stage events once we get into our stride,” said Course Manager, Ian Anderson.
