Kilmacolm GC enjoys quieter mornings with Jacobsen ELiTE 360

Together with Fairways GM’s Jonathan Rae and Stuart Cameron, John explored the available options before selecting the ELiTE 360. As part of the process, he sought the views of fellow course managers who had already introduced Jacobsen electric technology into their fleets.

"I spoke to several and the feedback was consistently positive," he explained. "Jacobsen was already well established in the electric mower market and everyone was impressed with the performance and cut quality.  After the demonstration, I had no hesitation."

The ELiTE 360 has quickly become an important part of the club's maintenance programme, particularly because of its exceptionally low noise levels.

Future Fairways: Inside Bearsden Golf Club's remarkable redevelopment

New fleet supports Bearsden Golf Club's new era

Working with Fairways GM's Jonathan Rae and Stuart Cameron, Project Course Manager David McBride selected a fleet comprising ISEKI TG6507 and TH3420 tractors, a Wessex CRX-320 rotary mower, Jacobsen LF570 fairway mower, Jacobsen GP400 greens mower, Jacobsen Eclipse® 360 ELiTE® all-electric greens mower and Infinicut pedestrian mower.

Milngavie GC boosted by arrival of Jacobsen TR330 from Fairways GM

It’s only been a couple of weeks, but already this is a massive upgrade from the machine we retired,” said Neil.

“One of the main reasons for purchase was the AdaptiShift function and slope performance. Its side-shifting reel moves the cutting units up to 30 cm to either side. Our tee bankings and green bankings are full of undulations and tight spots. The TR330 brings the manoeuvrability and scope to give them as precise a cut as we do the rest of the surfaces. We couldn’t achieve this uniformity and quality until now.”

Carnwath GC replaces trusty Jacobsen LF3800 after 20 years with LF570 fairway mower

The team at Carnwath Golf Club in South Lanarkshire took such good care of their Jacobsen LF3800 fairway mower that it delivered 20 reliable seasons and more than 6,000 hours of service. The original machine was supplied by Fairways GM, making the new LF570 a repeat purchase for the club — albeit one separated by two decades.
