The team at Drumpellier Golf Club, Coatbridge, has updated their fleet with a new Jacobsen LF570 high-performance golf fairways mower.
Head Greenkeeper, Colin Powrie said: “It’s a straight switch for our previous Jacobsen which had notched up nine years’ good service. We liked the last one because it delivered a precise cut, was an efficient hill climber and proved itself in wet conditions.
“It made huge sense to go for a like for like swap and I’m grateful to the club for continuing to invest in the machines we need. We’ve taken it with a service contract because the back-up you get from Fairways GM is second to none.
“Realistically it will be April before we can put it to good use, but it will help us deliver the quality and neatness we require.”
Fairways GM’s Area Sales Manager, Stuart Cameron, delivered the machine and completed handover training. This latest acquisition follows last year’s purchase of a Jacobsen AR530 model (pictured with team).
