Fairways GM customers will be the first in the UK to see the NEW all-electric agria 9700e at work next week.
As part of a mini-tour of Scotland, the all-electric tool carrier which can operate on slopes up to 50° will go ‘live’ at three venues with the Fairways GM team.
Andy Kerr, lead demonstrator for Agria UK and Wiedenmann UK, said:
“The great thing about this new machine is that its carbon neutral and 100% electric. Imagine something with as much power as a 30 hp tractor, working essentially as a base unit. Next, attach a mowing deck, or a flail decks or other accessories, using a CAT 1 standard 3-point linkage, and there you have it…”
The existing agria 9500 and 9600 machines which are sold via Wiedenmann UK dealers, are specific rotary mowers, positioned underneath a hybrid power unit. These models will also be demonstrated live next week.
“While it can climb inclines of 50 degrees it is also amazing on the level,” continued Andy Kerr. “If you have implements weighing less than 300 kg then the 9700e should be able to take them PTO driven. You can have it pull a surface conditioner then with the flick of a switch it can push a front mounted brush, so bi-directional with fully adjustable speed. It’s pretty special and lots of people want to see it. We’ll be taking it across the UK & Ireland as soon as we can.”
The 9700e moves technology forward. It creates a host of exciting new opportunities.
The tour begins on Tuesday, Oct 10 at 10.30 am at Cowglen GC, Glasgow and then moves to Edinburgh, at Swanston GC on Wed, Oct 11 before finishing up at Dundee’s Caird Park on Thursday, Oct 12.
The events are open invitation and so all are encouraged to come along. Free catering is provided, all attendees are asked to RSVP so we ensure everyone is catered for.
The team at Fairways GM hopes that you can make it and looks forward to seeing many of you next week!
