Fairways GM has reaffirmed its commitment to meeting health and safety standards, and ensuring the safety of its staff at work, by renewing its Safe Contractor accreditation.
The accreditation covers sales, demonstration, service and maintenance activities. Being Safe Contractor approved means that health and safety documentation is up to date and meets recognised industry requirements.
The Safe Contractor accreditation is run by the Alcumus Group which supports Fairways GM and the other 35,000 businesses and contractors that are part of the accreditation scheme. It is a Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) accreditation that collects and verifies information across health, safety, financial and ethical practices including specific areas such as permits to work at height, or hazardous material handling.
SSIP assessments are all judged on core criteria approved by HSE.
