So pleased were Raith Rovers FC with the long and reliable service from their original ISEKI tractor, the Fife club has replaced it with the latest version, the ISEKI TXGS24.
The Scottish Championship side has a fully synthetic all-weather surface which was installed during the off season of 2018. Their Stark’s Park stadium in Kirkcaldy is used for fixtures, training and a host of community events.
Stadium Development Manager, Bill Harvey said: “We bought Iseki again because we were delighted with the performance. We like the build quality, the ease of operation and especially how good it is in tight spaces. In and around the pitch there are many difficult places to manoeuvre, so being able to get ‘in’ and ‘out’ was a prime consideration.”
“We will use it to tow a variety of implements, raking, brushing spreading and everything associated with keeping the pitch in top condition.”
Area Sales Manager, Mike Lindsay at Scottish dealer’s, Fairways GM at Kinross, supplied the new machine. He said:
“ISEKI’S TXGS series is for applications where a small multi-use sub compact tractor is required. Bill’s team chose the 23 hp compact tractor, featuring 2-speed hydrostatic transmission, switchable 4WD, with easy access platform and controls.”
